The fifth edition of the Biennale svizzera del territorio came to a successful close on 4-5 October, welcoming a diverse and curious audience and confirming its position as an important platform for dialogue and reflection on the future of our territory. This year's theme, "Back to the Future", inspired shared discussions and visions, with a particular focus on young people, who were at the heart of this edition.
The event succeeded in bringing together different audiences through a balanced mix of academic meetings, artistic performances and convivial spaces. The Call for Action and the Call for Pecha Kucha gave space to new ideas, while the walk strengthened the bond between the community and the territory. An undoubtedly positive outcome.
But the Biennale doesn't end here, as some of the projects are still open to the public. Some of the Call for Action installations can be visited in Villa Saroli Park until 30 November, while videos and information material from the other actions can be seen in the park's Limonaia. The walk "Spunti per il futuro del nostro territorio" can be explored through QR code panels at each stop, allowing visitors to revisit and listen to the speeches of the guests who took part in the walk on 5 October.
This dynamic is intended to continue the Biennial's dialogue and leave room for further reflection on the future of our territory. All this will culminate in a closing event on 30 November, which will be an opportunity to conclude this journey together for the fifth edition of the Swiss Biennale of Territory.
